Our mission is to provide these innovators with the capital, guidance, and network they need to scale from early discovery to commercial success.

Founded by Justin Byers, a biopharma executive and entrepreneur, Midwest BioCapital combines deep industry experience with a practical understanding of what early-stage life science founders need most: speed, trust, and hands-on partnership.

Midwest BioCapital GP LLC is based in Madison, Wisconsin and operates Fund I in collaboration with AngelList, providing institutional-grade fund administration and investor support.
